rc clubs fly there plane at the riverside ca, asyo soccer fields on Saturdays & Sundays on special event days .. little to no soccer being done.

My "Canterbury Sailplanes Spitfire" foamie on its maiden flight. Not so great for beginners. It needs alot of wind to fly at it's best, & will drop like a brick if the wind dies all sudden like! IC version was much more fun. Again, sorry the video quality is not the best, it was filmed 7 yrs ago.

We launch sailplanes from the Alvord Desert in the SE corner of Oregon, USA. The Lakebed is 4000ft. above sea level and Steens Mountain goes streight up to 10,000ft. on the western side of the lake. The soaring is magnificent! We climb in thermals and wave to over 20,000ft!
