The third quarter in the 1994 Michigan game did not treat the Buckeyes well at all. They were held to no first downs as Michigan continued to chip away at the Buckeye lead. Again, the Wolvereenies were driving into Buckeye territory, threatening a go-ahead TD. They had to settle for a FG try, which was blocked by Marlon Kerner down to midfield. The Buckeyes eventually turned in the miscue for 3 points, giving the Buckeyes a 15-6 lead.
On the next Michigan play after the kickoff, Luke Fickell tips the Todd Collins pass to himself and catches it to put the Buckeyes on offense in the Michigan red zone. Eddie George eventually plowed in the ball for 6, giving the Buckeyes the 22-6 lead that became the final margin for the game.
The blocked FG was key in turning the game around for the Buckeyes and turning the tide on the Wolvereenies. The victory was Moeller's first loss in November and Cooper's first victory over Michigan. Buckeyes turn the tide on the |

The 1997 and 2003 seasons had alot of similarities:
-they were the only season's under Lloyd Carr in which Michigan won an outright Big Ten championship
-They were the only season's under Carr in which Michigan beat their three-hated rivals (Notre Dame, Michigan State, Ohio State) in the same season
-And they were the only seasons under Carr in which they had a player get invited to New York for the Heismen ceremony (Charles Woodson in 1997 and Chris Perry in 2003)
Well, there were also several plays from these two season's that look almost IDENTICAL. Here they are. Enjoy the video!!! Michigan Wolverines 1997 and 2 |

From our Rockstar Studio this is Tony T and now its time for College Football coverage with a lighter touch of Vegas. Its our Chick Pick Segment. We now welcome to Gamblers Television with her Chick Pick Tricia Regan. Hello Tricia.
Tricia: Hi Tony and Hey everyone
Tony: Tricia, you played collegiate soccer at Colorado U. The Buffaloes. Now let me ask you this. Michigan has a new coach this season. You have many players who were recruited by Lloyd Carr and now Rich Rodriguez steps in. How do college athletes handle the stress of seeing a coach who awarded them a football scholarship suddenly get forced out of the program?
Tricia: Well fortunately for me, I was never put in a situation like this, but the class prior to mine was. First of all, I dont think its ever easy to see a coach that you put your trust in and future with leave, but part of growing as a team involves adjusting to new situations and handling change.
Tony: OK now its time for Tricias Chick Pick. Speaking of Michigan, they are in tough this week. Michigan Wolverines are at Penn St with the Nittany Lions a 23-½ point favorite. Wow. The game is set for 4:30PM Eastern with ESPN televising.
Tricia: Take Penn State at minus 23 1/2 points. Even though theyve lost 9 games in a row to the Michigan Wolverines, I think the losing streak is over for Penn State. This year, they are #3 in the nation and have won all 7 of their games by an average of more than 34 points- which is, by far, the largest winning margin in the country. Michigan, on the other hand, has the worst offense in the Big 10 and, just when they thought it couldnt get any worse, they fell 13-10 to Toledo (which is the Wolverines first loss to a mid-American conference school in 25 games)
Tony: Its hard to bet against Penn St right now. You think they run the table this season?
Tricia: Yes, it looks like their division is pretty poor this year. Their toughest battle will be at Ohio St. and I dont see the Buckeyes weak offense putting up much of a fight.
Tony: Does Michigan finish at least 6-6 this season and make a Bowl game this season?
Tricia: Nah, I dont think theyll be able to pull it off. They still have 3 ranked opponents to play this year, and if they cant beat Toledo, I dont see them competing with top 25 teams.
Tony: OK Tricia Regan says take the Penn St Nittany Lions and lay the 23 ½ points against the Michigan Wolwerwines. Thank You Tricia its always good to see you and to have you on the set of Gamblers Television.
Tricia: Thank you Tony and good luck to all the viewers this week.
Tony T: That will do it for now. This is Tony T with Tricia Regan from our Rockstar Studio reminding you
