The NYC Marathon runs 26 miles through all five boroughs of New York City and many different neighborhoods. This is on First Avenue in the 70s and 80s, my neighborhood. Here are the sights and sounds of the 2007 Marathon as the runners passed through the Upper East Side. The band that is featured in this video is called RFD. 2 month old blue nose

Here is the Doctor's Nova Scotia Youth Run from the 2008 Blue Nose International Marathon. Held in Halifax, Nova Scotia on May 17, the kids toughed out a rainy and exciting day. Thanks to all the participants, families and, as usual, the volunteers.
