Jackson Public School Superintendent Dan Evans on Monday announced that 11 members of the Jackson High School football team have been removed from the football team as a result of a melee at Lansing Everett High School on Friday. Evans said that four of the 11 players were also given school suspensions ranging from 5-10 days. Seven of the players are facing school suspensions of 0-5 days. The 11 players were to learn of the their school suspensions from their grade principals on Tuesday.
